Cross the Uzbekistan-Tajikistan border. Visit the archaeological site of the ancient city of Sarazm is located near Sohibnazar, a village situated on the left bank of the river Zarafshon, near the border with Uzbekistan. The culture of Sarazm precedes by far the arrival of the Andronovo steppe culture in South Central Asia in the 2nd millennium BC.
Continue driving to the Seven Lakes. Visit the lakes Nezhigon, Soya, Gushor, Nofin, Khurdak, Marguzor (the largest), and Hazorchashma (the highest).
