For most tourists, Kazakhstan allows visa-free entry or online visa applications. However, travelers from several countries are still required to obtain a Letter of Invitation (LOI) in order to get a visa from a Kazakh embassy or consulate.
The LOI serves as an official confirmation of your visit from a registered Kazakh travel agency and is reviewed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs before a visa can be issued.
You will likely need an LOI if:
STANTOURS helps travelers obtain LOIs for Kazakhstan quickly and reliably.
*The cost of the invitation letter for certain nationalities and travel document holders may vary.
*The Committee of Migration Service of Kazakhstan reserves the right to deny any application without providing explanations. Once the invitation process has started, no refund will be given.
Electronic Visa (E-visa): Since 1 January 2019, Kazakhstan allows single-entry e-visas through the international airports of Astana and Almaty only.
