Afghanistan has been identified as potentially the most dangerous country in the world to visit in 2023 according to recently published Risk Map 2023.

Medical and security specialist International SOS named Syria the second-most dangerous destination to visit this year, followed by Ukraine, Mali and Iraq. Ukraine has been upgraded to "extreme risk" after getting invaded by Russia in February, 2022.
